gr8 job at producing so much content... you're a sketch hero

hm... my first critique would be to possibly try and make your characters be between 5-7 head lengths total... if you do that most features will scale down to their appropriate sizes... the way you're drawing them now makes them look like tall, lanky giants...

i think i heard mark crilley (anyone reading should do a google and youtube search on this guy - his manga lessons are great) say he makes his main guy character about 9 head lengths... that would be appropriate only for really tall people (i personally don't like the tall lanky look in anime)...

it's also probably good to experiment a bit and try to make characters different heights... figure out the right proportions you want to give characters and then just keep them consistent where appropriate...

Nice P3-fist image. You're good at drawing hands *o*, the detail is great. I think the anatomy of your female characters look fine, but there does seem to be a couple images where the chest looks too low down from the collarbone. Also, the way you draw clothing/folds is really awesome and makes me envious. xD

God pointed something out to me yesterday.

I made the story sci-fi based, but that's out of fear. The original story featured vampires and werecreatures, but I changed it because... well, Twilight. I didn't want to seem like a copycat, and so I backed down. But I realized that it's just as bad to pull something out of my story because it's popular. Either way, I'm letting what's popular influence my work.

Since making this decision, drawing has become easier. The block I'd been fighting for a year now seems to have lifted, and so I'm confident this is the direction to go.

WT: REconciled

The Vampires and the Lycans have been warring for as long as we can remember, and we humans have been pushed around in the middle. All we have are the Paladins, brave Humans who have taken a stand for freedom against both the warring kingdoms.

Andrea Noble: A Paladin who searches for the Vampire Daemon, to break the curse that slowly turns her body into stone.

Benjamin Atlas: An ex-Lycan who's joined the Paladins. He plans to return to his wife and daughter down south, after Andrea set him free.

Herman Stryker: The disowned son of a Noble, he wanders the land seeking to stay far from trouble.

The Vampires lean more towards antipersonal, rational, upper-story thought, while the Lycans are more materialistic, sensual lower-story people. I believe that I can Christianize those two concepts, not just tacking Christian values onto them but speaking the message of Redemption in the language of Gothic action/horror. Please pray for me. Thanks!

Sounds good so far.    As far as copying Twilight...well, the subject matter was fairly well covered before someone decided Twilight should be popular, so it isn't precisely original.  XD  It's all in how you handle it...a good story will show us a new way of looking at an old subject, and I can see the potential for this in your story.

Hello again, everybody! Here to update the Friday Update Thread is my good pal, Fred. You can call him 'Friday Update Fred'!

Fred: ... It's Saturday...
Jemuel: T_T I'm not gonna argue. It's Friday, because I say it's Friday.
Fred: ...<.< Ri-ight.. anyway. Update. ...
Three years ago, Herman's older brother vanished, deep in Lycan territory. The entire squadron was pronounced deceased by the Paladins, but Herman is convinced he's still alive. Can he find him?

Jemuel: That's right. Once again, I interrupted your lives for a rather trivial bit of story information. No pictures, either. Ain't I a stinker? *whistles as he walks retreats into his cave*

Fred: What he isn't telling you is, he's been working real hard on his anatomy, as well as trying to find a central story to frame the narrative he's been working on. He's been running a ton of options, and thrown away a lot of junk to make as good of a story as he could. There isn't much paydirt to report, but that doesn't mean there hasn't been a lot of digging.
