About...

Hi! My name is Russell. Welcome to my site, The BASIC FAQs!

Just so I don't have to update this page with my age every year, I'll just say that I was born in 1976. I have a diploma in PC repair and one in electronics (which I don't think I'll go into professionally). But what I really like to do is write music, program (a little), and just generally work with computers. One could say that I'm a freelance do-it-all sort of fellow. (Or maybe a jack of all trades but a master of none?...)

I've been wanting to get a site of my own up and running for a long time, mainly for the purpose of publishing my computer game, The Traveller's Guide; but didn't feel the need to until it was actually finished--or at least off the ground. (At this time of writing, it is still in the development phase. Please don't ask me about it, for I don't know when it'll be finished.) But now I have a couple of other reasons to have a site up earlier--to share my good news and, as suggested by my family, to share my musical compositions and arrangements and other projects.

So make yourself at home and feel free to browse around! If you have any questions or comments, please e-mail me or sign my guestbook.
